We’re locked and loaded for SEMA 2012 (we’re in booth #13045!) and are happy to announce some of the ridiculously cool matte cars that will be using Dr. Beasley’s Matte Paint Prescription! We all know how popular matte paint has been at SEMA, and this year is no exception. The floor is going to be covered with cars decked out in both flat and satin matte paint jobs, so consider this a preview of what will be an elaborate display of the increasingly mainstream finish.
The “High Gear” Mustang
Pictured above, the “High Gear” Mustang is the first of its kind built and designed entirely by women. The style was chosen by online voters who decided on the “High Gear” package which features a spectacular slate grey matte finish and bronze accents on the wheels, mirrors, and emblems. The car, presented by both SEMA and Ford will be auctioned off after the show to benefit the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund. We’re excited to provide LGE*CTS Motorsports with the products for a spotless finish! Check it out in Ford’s booth: #22200.
TJ Lavin’s 1951 Ford Shoebox
The guys at Divine 1 Customs are bringing this retro Shoebox and showcasing it at the Kicker Audio booth in the North Hall. TJ Lavin, the owner of the matte olive Ford, will also be signing autographs there during the week. One thing’s for sure, this is one mean ride. We’re proud to deliver the proper matte paint care products for a spotless show. Check it out in booth #11339!
Every year, KEG Media designs some awesome vehicles to display at the SEMA Show. Their matte car this year is a tricked out Dodge Dually mega cab sitting on not 20, not 22, but 24 inch rims. Project Blackout will be featured in the Undercover Bed Covers booth and later featured in Truckin’ magazine (with a potential cover). See it in booth #31059.
High Xpectations’ CTS
High Xpectations, a SEMA restyling company out of L.A., tricked out a monstrous CTS for VizuaLogic’s booth. The CTS is finished with a flat black wrap to accompany some awesome features: 15th Anniversary matte black Advanti wheels, performance lowering springs from Road Magnet, and a cat-back exhaust from Magnaflow (just to name a few). We’re more than happy to help with such a great car. See it in booth #11745.
There are glossy cars using Dr. Beasley’s, too!
Along with many others, the glossy car we really want to show you is another from KEG Media: a 1960 Brookwood Wagon dubbed “Black Betty”. As you can see, it’s got a glossy black paint job, huge rims (and a lowered suspension to hide them), a pristine red leather interior from Hydes, and a metal flake roof. This is one cool ride and will be featured in the AccuAir Suspension Booth: #21355.
After the show we’ll be posting pictures of every car using Dr. Beasley’s, including a matte Acura RSX from Croll’s Customs and many more!
