2013 V-Twin Expo Recap

2013 V-Twin Expo FloorThis past weekend I had the privilege of attending the 2013 V-Twin Expo, and I must say, it was a hell of a show. For those of you who don’t know, the V-Twin Expo is an annual tradeshow held in Cincinnati and is attended by the biggest aftermarket manufacturers, dealers, and custom bike shops (as well as associated media outlets). I had a chance to get out there to see what to look forward to in the coming year in the motorcycle aftermarket.

Now, when we attend a show like this our main interest is in vehicle care/detailing, so I had a particular interest in seeing what was going on as far as paint trends, material manufacturers, and other aftercare companies. The V-Twin Expo didn’t disappoint in this regard as there were several major paint companies there, as well as a myriad of leather and parts manufacturers to glean some insight from.

Of course, the real stars of this show were the bikes. Just about any type of styling you could be into was on display, so there was a little bit of something for everybody. One thing that did catch my eye was that probably more than half of the bikes on hand were (surprise, surprise) done in a matte finish.

There were so many vehicles on display it was hard to narrow it down to the ones that I chose to share with you here, though I did have a couple of personal favorites. (Morgan 3 Wheeler anyone?) So without further ado, let’s take a look at the 2013 V-Twin Expo…

Let us know if you have any questions about the show, or if you were there yourself! We’d love to hear from you.
