Kawasaki H2/H2R Press Release

KAWASAKI ENDORSES DR. BEASLEY’S FOR NEW SILVER MIRROR PAINT

Kawasaki’s New Ninja H2 & H2R Paint Requires Dr. Beasley’s Special Care

Chicago, IL (April 15, 2015) ― After months of testing, demonstrations, and workshops, Kawasaki USA has elected to

include Dr. Beasley’s Nano-Resin Coating Kits and Final Finish Detail Spray as the preferred detailing products to be

used on their new Kawasaki Ninja H2 and H2R motorcycles. Featuring a unique new hand-applied silver-flake

(rather than the traditional aluminum flake) paint known as Silver Mirror Paint, the two bikes, launched this spring

require special paint care products to maintain their glass-like metallic appearance. A Dr. Beasley’s Nano-Resin

Coating Kit and Final Finish Detail Spray is included with every H2 bike sold. The track variant H2R, which happens

to be the most powerful motorcycle ever built with 300 HP, will also come with Dr. Beasley’s products.

Dr. Beasley’s is Chicago’s most innovative maker of high-end detailing products, but they have become especially

adept at developing special formulas that out-perform other polishes and coatings on progressive new paints and

paint applications for cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

The Kawasaki announcement follows Chrysler’s endorsement of Dr. Beasley’s Matte Series Detailing products for

their matte and satin paint finishes on the 2014 SRT Viper, and the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Just last

fall, restomod designer ICON began including Dr. Beasley’s exclusive Matte Paint Prescription Kits with every new

ICON sold with matte paint; and Hyundai has been including the Matte Paint Prescription in every matte finish

Veloster Turbo sold since 2012.

Dr. Beasley’s Nano-Resin formula is a semi-permanent nano-coating designed to deliver the longest-lasting paint

protection possible. Harder than the clear coat, it provides a durable, hydrophobic barrier that will protect the

paint from marring, staining, UV damage, and airborne contamination build-up for two to three years. In addition

to the protection, it gives the bike and vehicles a hyper-reflective gloss that goes beyond anything a wax or sealant

can provide.

“Originally, Kawasaki wanted to test out our Matte products, which they currently use, but they became really

excited about our glossy Nano-Resin and Final Finish products,” says Dr. Beasley’s director of operations, Andrew

Donovan. “Highly reflective paint surfaces tend to show scratches more easily and our products have all the

features necessary to protect a finish as unique as their new highly reflective Silver Mirror Paint.”

According to Dr. Beasley’s founder and president Jim Lafeber, “This is exciting for us because we’re working with

OEMs like Chrysler, Hyundai, ICON, and now Kawasaki, who trust us to protect both matte finishes, as well as

extremely glossy surfaces.”
