How To Take Care Of A Matte Car In Winter

Here’s three questions we get a lot:

  1. How do I take care of my car in the winter?
  2. How do I take care of a matte car?
  3. How do I take care of a matte car in the winter?

It’s easy enough to tell someone the answers, but it’s another thing to show them.

Thankfully our good friend and initial focus media co-founder Michael Tobin stepped up to the plate and provided us with a phenomenal look at winter matte car care through a video he shot and produced. I thought the principal reason for buying a matte paint job was to reduce the amount of labor needed to maintain the car. Are you saying there is really no difference in the amount of care you need to apply between a gloss and matte paint? Thanks!

    • Dr. Beasley's says:

Like any paint, matte finishes require maintenance. The difference is not in the amount of care, but rather in the kind of care – different products, different methods.
