THE CAR: 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye
THE NSPs: NSP 45, NSP 95
THE PADS: Meguiar’s microfiber pad; white Rupes pad
THE MACHINE: Rupes 15mm random orbital
THE COATING: SPS Graphene

We’ve mentioned before that NSPs are an ideal corrective priming system for graphene coatings, but we haven’t actually done an NSP case study with one — until now.

Thankfully, Authorized Detailer Michael Lambert of the Shine Shop Auto Detailing approached us recently with some awesome shots of a Hellcat Redeye he corrected and protected with an NSP/graphene combo.

From Michael:

“The Challenger was a 2019 Hellcat RedEye, a recent purchase by a returning client. Once the regular wash and decon was done, we gave it a thorough wipe with alcohol to remove the dealer-applied “Lifetime Protection.”

“We found several areas of buffer trails, car wash damage from what appeared to be brush marks, and factory sand marks.”

“After a test section using NSP 95 on a Meguiar’s microfiber pad, followed by NSP 45 on a white Rupes pad, all while using the Rupes 15mm at speed 5, we were pleased and continued around the car.”

“It was an easy and quick correction and refinement! We coated the paint and plastic with SPS Graphene, wheels with Modesta BC-06 airbrushed, and Dr. Beasley’s Glass Serum for the windows. I must add that I only used 45 on the vinyl stripes.

Thanks to Mike for the thorough case study! Check out the photos he provided below:
