Pictures: Hands-On With Nano Surface Primers At Mike Phillip’s Autogeek 3-Day Detailing Bootcamp

Last Updated March 10, 2022

This past weekend Autogeek’s Mike Phillips invited Dr. Beasley’s President/Founder Jim Lafeber down to Stuart, Florida, to help out with his renowned 3-Day detailing intensive. Mike’s been a big fan of our new “Nano Surface Primer” line, so he really wanted to get these products in the hands of some up-and-coming detailers. And what better way to do that than bring down the inventor himself? So of course, Jim was happy to oblige.

The class tackled 17 cars over 3 days, using the latest tools from Flex and Lake Country, trying different combos of NSPs to get great results on a variety of paint types. Apparently that 17 cars is a record for this class, so hats off to everyone that put in the work! We could stare at these cars all day:

Congratulations to all that participated!

It was a delight to have the trio of NSP products to use during our class. A simple but effective product to tackle all paint on the cars we did. Best yet was going directly to the application of a coating, no time lost with these products.

I truly enjoyed working with the NSP primers on the first day. I was 100% sold when I had the UDOS polisher set on the sanding short orbit for a tight space, with NSP45 light abrasive loaded on the pad. It pulled out 95% of the scratches and left a beautiful finish on a medium hardness Ferrari paint. The product has a long working time, and I didn’t notice any dusting either. It’s a very well-engineered product that I am investing in.
