THE CAR
2019 GMC 3500
“This truck was originally brought to my attention by another shop in my area, having thin clear coat problems on some of the door panels from the factory. After discussing the matter we decided that a ceramic coating would be a great option for protecting the thin areas long-term and ensure a healthy vehicle for years to come.”
“I started with a strip wash to ensure any protection (like wax or sealant) was removed prior to beginning the coating application.
Being this truck is nearly a year old there were some minor swirling and scratching that needed addressed. I was simply amazed by the NSP Z1 ability to remove these imperfections while leaving behind a primed, glossy surface just waiting to accept the Nano-Resin MX coating.”

CERAMIC COATING APPLICATION
“After the surfaces of the truck had been perfected to a mirror-like finish it was time to apply the Paint Coating Builder. This is one area where Dr. Beasly’s Nano-Resin MX system really shines (no pun intended) as we are building up layers of durable protection, all working together to form cross-linking bonds on the surfaces of the vehicle. The Coating Builder was applied to all surfaces where the Nano-Resin MX was to be applied, using a cross hatching pattern and wiping away after roughly 2-3 minutes.
Once the Coating Builder was applied it was time to get my hands on the actual Nano-Resin MX coating! Applied in the same cross hatching manner as the Builder, only a dropper is utilized to extract the Nano-Resin MX from the bottle and apply to the suede applicator pad. Once the coating was applied it was wiped away after approximately 60 seconds — very easy to work with and wipes away with little effort. The truck was then left indoors to cure for 24 hours.”
