Applying Nano-Resin Pro with RAD Garage

Rick from the RAD Garage YouTube channel recently visited Dr. Beasley’s HQ with Pan the Organizer and Tony Ralda of Ralda’s Details as part of Car Supplies Warehouse‘s Creator Summit in Chicago. While he was here, Rick took a deep dive with our Director of Success Chris Racana into the science and application behind Nano-Resin Pro, our self-healing professional ceramic coating.

Nano-Resin Pro is unique in that it’s a 100% solids coating, giving it a robust viscosity that can be challenging to work with at first. Watching this video gives you a rare insight into the technique and skill necessary to properly apply a pro-tier coating like Nano-Resin Pro. Check it all out below!

Hey guys. I’m getting ready to graphene coat my car, but before, I’m going to polish with Dr. Beasley’s 45. I’m seeing videos, that after polishing with 45, it’ll haze up, after wiping off? I hear that’s normal? Once you coat the car, you won’t see any hazing? Is that true? I don’t have to worry about that? I have a white car too.

    Hey Mark,

The “haze” is usually symptomatic of one, or a combination of two things:
    (1) Using too much product on the pad
    (2) not working it long enough

Generally, you can coat over a light haze, but if heavier, you can wipe it clean with a spritz of distilled water and a microfiber towel.

Sometimes, usually on black paint, you will see what we call “ghosting” when the panel if perfectly clear after wipe-off, but then after a short period of time you see the matrix of anchor points waiting to accept the coating.

When you see ghosting, simply apply the coating and you will be all good.

    Good luck!
    -Chris
