Everyone professional detailer wants to be efficient. It’s the key to profitability and long term success. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to really know how to be efficient. One place you can start is with the products you use. After all, they determine how much effort you’re exerting, how fast you’re going, how much work you’re getting done, and how much product you’re going through. All of those factors impact your bottom line.
Think about polishes. Going by the standards we just listed, most polishes hardly qualify as “efficient”. Many require strenuous effort, multiple section passes and giant gobs of product. On top of that, they often leave organic residues on the surface that must be wiped away thoroughly, and even then you could be left with wipe-induced marring that you’ll need to correct before applying any ceramic nanocoating.
Dr. Beasley’s new Nano Surface Primers seek to eliminate these inefficiencies and streamline the paintwork correction workflow. By using their unique DxPrime technology, Dr. Beasley’s has created correction solutions that require less product, less effort and less time while delivering results that far exceed the current polish technology. So how do the NSPs do it? We’ll break it all down below.
Minimizing Effort, Maximizing Results
Efficiency is about getting the most done with the least amount of resources. Though some take it for granted, your energy is a valuable resource; it’s what powers your life. So if there’s a technology that can do more with less effort, you owe it to yourself and your business to take advantage of that. That technology, of course, is DxPrime, and it fuels these new Nano Surface Primers.

NSP 45 = .45 microns | NSP 95 = .95 microns | NSP 150 = 1.5 microns
Polishes and compounds in the past were hampered by weak bite, requiring lots of force and many passes to get something resembling professional results. They used abrasives with limited cutting facets, which in turn limited the amount of cut you could get in a single pass. To get around this, DxPrime uses a new kind of abrasive particle called a “microsphere”.
Microspheres are, as the name implies, sphere shaped. By the nature of their shape, microspheres have an uncountable number of cutting facets. This provides a level of cut essentially unseen in conventional compounds, which means you’re spending less time, less energy and getting better results. With the right knowhow, that can translate into more volume with no sacrifice in quality.
That’s because it’s not just cutting that microspheres excel at. They’re also remarkable at evenly leveling paintwork to create as smooth a surface possible. More smooth, more shine. Not only are you minimizing effort, you’re also maximizing results.
Eliminating Workflow Bottlenecks
Efficiency is also about cutting out workflow bottlenecks. Small hiccups caused by outdated polish and compound tech can turn into time sucks that totally break your momentum and even delay other jobs in your schedule. Here’s an example.
As we’ve said before, many polishes and compounds leave behind silicone oils and organic residue that must be removed for the ceramic coating to properly bond. This by itself can take quite a while, considering these oils are notoriously difficult to remove. But then also consider the fact that all that wiping might be marring the finish. Now you’re back with the buffer wasting more time correcting those wipe marks.
This kind of inefficiency is unacceptable for any business, and it was for that reason Dr. Beasley’s engineered DxPrime technology to prevent this workflow disruption. The first step was to eliminate the residue removal step entirely by forgoing organic or silicone based ingredients in the nanogel base. That way, no IPA or panel wipe is necessary — there’s nothing to remove but a slight haze.

The second step was to imbue the nanogel with protective properties. This puts a shield between corrected paint and the elements, ensuring no post-polish scratches are introduced before coating. With those two features combined, you can be confident you won’t need to waste time fixing these annoyances. Workflow is streamlined and you can more easily optimize your schedule for work.
Less Product + Better Results = Efficiency
We’ve said it a million times thus far, but it still bears repeating: efficiency is about doing more with less. So when you take a look at professional detailers dispensing product onto their pads, it can be shocking seeing the giant gobs they’re squeezing out. It’s hardly what you’d call efficient — it’s a downright waste of money.

With the new Nano Surface Primer line, you don’t need huge dollops of product to get quality results fast. Whether it’s the NSP 45, 95 or 150, you’ll find yourself using A LOT less product. Again, this is all because of the speedy and powerful cut behind their microsphere abrasives. They make it so NSPs can do a lot more with a lot less.
Why Efficiency Matters for Detailers
Professional or not, efficiency is crucial for true detailing success. Results are important, obviously, but finding the most efficient way to get there is what makes profitability happen. The polish technology of the past could be an obstacle to efficiency; Nano Surface Primers’ “DxPrime” tech is what clears that obstacle.
After all, efficiency is all about conserving resources — time, energy, product — to deliver the best results. NSPs achieve this by saving you time (faster cut rate, no IPA step) energy (less work to do) and product (less needed) through the advances of DxPrime technology.
