Zaia and John from 48 Detailing will lead the class in prepping the $1,000,000 Dodge Charger Daytona for paintwork correction, followed by a test spot to dial in the process. Once the process is defined, the class will be assigned discrete panels to correct on this ultra rare vehicle as they are closely supervised by the instructors.

12:30PM – 1:40PM: Lunch and Business Talks

Lunch will be served at 12:30PM, with a branding discussion from 48 Detailing’s Zaia Dinkha and Dr. Beasley’s Victor Espeland beginning 10 minutes in. The second half of lunch will feature a discussion from Jim Lafeber on the day-to-day business of detailing and how to grow an operation.

2:00PM – 3:15PM: Nano-Resin Pro Install

With the Daytona correction complete, Zaia, John and our detailing studio foreman Christyan will lead the class in a Nano-Resin Pro demo before letting the class loose to apply this 25-Year self-healing ceramic coating to the rest of this rare vehicle.

3:15PM – 3:30PM: Metal Coat Install

Once the Nano-Resin Pro application is complete, Zaia and Christyan will jump in to demo Metal Coat on the Daytona’s bumper. Then the class will have the chance to apply Metal Coat to all the other metal surfaces, including the exhaust.

3:30PM – 4:30PM: Glass Serum Pro Install

The final Pro coating for the day! Zaia and John will demo the application of Glass Serum Pro on a Mercedes-Benz C63s convertible’s windshield. Then the class will do the same on a 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R. Once this application is complete, Simon’s foreman Christyan will demo removal of Glass Serum Pro with a machine buffer on the previously coated C63s. The class will help complete this removal before doing the same for the GT350R.

4:30PM – 5:00PM: Free Play and Q&A

While we run out and grab some pizza from Pequod’s for the happy hour, instructors will stay behind to answer any lingering questions while the class gets more hands-on time with their favorite products and tools.

5:00PM – 6:00PM: Happy Hour with Pequod’s Pizza and Beer!

With the Pequod’s pizza and beer secured, the class will have the chance to wind down and socialize with their classmates and instructors in our detailing studio’s waiting room.

Day 2

8AM – 11AM: Profitable Level 1 Corrections

Zaia and John will give a short talk on why booking multiple level 1 corrections per day boosts your profitability before Chris Metcalf from FLEX gives a demo to explain how to choose the right buffer for the job. Then a series of demos and hands-on instruction will follow:

11:00AM – 12:00PM: Interior Detailing (Microsuede and Leather)

After countless lessons on exterior detailing, it’s time to head inside! Zaia and John from 48 Detailing will lead the class in a discussion on using dedicated cleaners for sensitive surfaces like leather and microsuede before demoing Microsuede Cleanser, Microsuede Protection (on yesterday’s GT350R) and Fine Leather Cleanser, Leather Cream and Leather Lock Pro (on the C63s). The class will then complete the process demoed by Zaia and John.

12:00PM – 1:00PM: Lunch and Sales Discussion

Lunch will be served at 12:00PM accompanied by a talk from Dr. Beasley’s Director of Success Chris Racana on overcoming common objections when selling services. Zaia and John from 48 Detailing will then hop in to offer their perspective on closing and maintaining recurring business.

1:00PM-3:00PM: Owning Matte Detailing in Your Market

Christyan from our detailing studio Simon’s will join 48 Detailing’s John and Zaia to discuss the importance of owning the matte finish detailing niche in your region. This will be followed by a full matte detailing demo on a matte test hood, covering prep using Matte Decon, Matte Paint Cleanser and Matte Paint Cleanser Pro before going into protection with Matte Paint Coating. Once the demo is done the class will get hands-on with the real thing, prepping and coating a matte Mercedes-Benz CLS with the self-healing Matte Paint Coating Pro

3:00PM-3:30PM: Legend PPF Demo

Our detailing studio Simon’s forman Christyan will talk with the class about PPF — why it’s a profitable service to own, how to upsell, and why adding a ceramic coating to the film is so important.

3:30PM – 4:30PM: Free Play & Q&A

Any lingering questions will be addressed during this free hour, and the class will also have the opportunity to get hands-on with any product or tool they choose as instructors provide guidance.

4:30PM – 5:00PM: Graduation

Graduation time! “Future of Detailing” clinic certificates will be awarded to each student during a walk-up ceremony. Pictures will be taken, laughs will be had and each student will be sent on their way with a Dr. Beasley’s t-shirt, hat, $100 credit, Lake Country pads and some other goodies!
