    Really interesting how it self heals itself with the heat. A great product for our warmer southern states!

      Thanks, Kirby! While we generally do not advocate for putting heat on a customer’s car (this was on our test hood), we did want to show off the self-healing. The best and safest way to have the coating heal (as you alluded to) was to simply let the sun do its thing!

    What sort of preparation is needed before applying self healing coating? Will it still work even if there is a ceramic ( non self healing) already on the paint?

      To create the most durable possible bond it is best to start with as close to virgin clear coat as we can. For this, we recommend at least one step of paint correction with one of our Nano Surface Primers (NSP 45, NSP 95, and/or NSP 150).
