Some ceramic coatings, including Dr. Beasley’s Nano Resin MX, are designed to move water off the surface in sheets rather than form tight beads. The Sheeting Maintenance Kit is built specifically for maintaining that behavior. Nano LS-10 refreshes slickness, gloss and hydrophilic water movement so the existing coating continues to perform as intended.

QUICK TOUCH-UPS OR PERIODIC COATING CARE

Use The Final Finish for light dust, fingerprints and fresh surface contamination between washes. When the existing coating’s sheeting behavior, slickness or gloss begins to fade, clean the vehicle and apply Nano LS-10 to refresh the coated surface. Each product has a distinct role, giving you both everyday touch-up care and periodic coating maintenance.

SHEETING INSTEAD OF BEADING

Applying a beading-focused maintenance product such as AdvanceCoat: Gloss would shift the surface toward the newly applied product’s hydrophobic water-beading behavior. This kit uses Nano LS-10 in its place so coatings designed for hydrophilic sheeting can be maintained without overriding that characteristic. It gives you the right maintenance products and towels in one coordinated package while saving more than 10% compared with buying the items separately.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

SHEETING MAINTENANCE KIT

USE NANO LS-10 TO REFRESH HYDROPHILIC COATING PERFORMANCE

  1. 1. WASH AND DRY THE VEHICLE

    When the existing coating’s sheeting behavior, slickness or gloss needs to be refreshed, wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly so the surface is as clean as possible. Nano LS-10 is used here to maintain hydrophilic water-shedding behavior rather than replace it with water beading.

  2. 2. MIST NANO LS-10

    Working one panel or small section at a time, mist Nano LS-10 evenly onto the surface.

  3. 3. LEVEL AND BUFF

    Use one microfiber towel to spread the product evenly, then use a clean side or second towel to buff away remaining excess.

  4. 4. LET THE COATING SET

    Leave the vehicle undisturbed for at least one hour after application. For maximum durability, avoid washing for one week.

USE THE FINAL FINISH FOR LIGHT TOUCH-UPS

  1. 1. SHAKE AND SPRAY

    For fresh dust, fingerprints or light surface contamination, shake The Final Finish and spray a small section of clean, dry paint.

  2. 2. WIPE AND BUFF

    Immediately wipe with a clean microfiber towel, then flip to a clean side and hand buff until the surface is clear and glossy. Repeat as needed between normal washes.

WHY USE NANO LS-10 INSTEAD OF ADVANCECOAT: GLOSS?

AdvanceCoat: Gloss promotes hydrophobic water beading. That is useful for coatings designed to bead water, but it can override the intended behavior of coatings designed to shed water in sheets. Nano LS-10 maintains hydrophilic water movement, making it the appropriate maintenance choice for sheeting coatings.

WHAT MAKES THIS A “SHEETING” MAINTENANCE KIT?

Nano LS-10 uses hydrophilic ceramic technology that encourages water to move across treated surfaces in sheets rather than form the tight beads associated with hydrophobic coatings.

WHAT IS THE FINAL FINISH USED FOR?

The Final Finish is for light touch-ups between washes, including fresh dust, fingerprints and smudges. It gives you a quick way to clean small areas without performing a full Nano LS-10 maintenance application.

DO I USE BOTH PRODUCTS AT THE SAME TIME?

No. Use The Final Finish as needed for light spot maintenance. Apply Nano LS-10 to a thoroughly clean surface when the existing coating’s slickness, gloss or water-sheeting behavior needs to be refreshed.

WHAT COATINGS IS THIS KIT INTENDED TO MAINTAIN?
