Like Father, Like Son
Most people wouldn’t be qualified to paint their own vehicle matte. Jeff, however, owns of J. Jones Entertainment Construction and Welding, so he has an eye for design and the technical skills to do an awesome job.
After painting his son’s Junior Dragster matte black, Jeff had paint leftover and decided to make his 1970 Chevy Nova sleek, black, and badass like his son’s dragster.
Fast & Furious
This 1970 Chevy Nova has a 540 motor that runs on pump gas and it does a 9 second quarter mile on 9” Mickey Thompson drag radials. Jeff’s favorite part of driving his Nova is, “when you let go of the transbrake button and it feels like you just got shot out of a canon.” Seriously thrilling!
Taking Care
Jeff was concerned about his paint when he noticed a white film on the Chevy. He called Kyle Chrysikos of KRC Mobile Detail who uses Dr. Beasley’s products! Our Matte Paint Cleanser removed the white film on Jeff’s 1970 Chevy Nova.
He was relieved to know there was a solution to his problem so he could get the car back on the strip. Jeff’s normal care regimen includes pre and post checks whenever he’s heading out to the drag strip. Safety is always first, but beauty is a close second. He definitely nailed the gorgeous look with this custom paint job!
This Nova is as fast as it is gorgeous and we’re so glad to have Dr. Beasley’s matte paint care products keeping it clean and protected. Want your car on our blog? Email photos & info to myteam@drbeasleys.com!
