When Jim Lafeber (Dr. Beasley’s Founder & Chemist) first developed Nano Surface Primers, one of the biggest questions he asked himself was what kind of container worked best for these products. Nano Surface Primers utilize ceramic nanotechnology, so they can’t be exposed to oxygen for too long — otherwise the ceramic nanogel will begin to cure, making it ineffective as both a paintwork correction carrier and a nanocoating foundation.
This made larger sizes problematic, as they allow too much oxygen inside because of their greater volume capacity. For this reason, Nano Surface Primers were originally introduced in an 8 oz tube. That is, until now. After nearly a year of testing, we found a specially engineered bag container that was perfect for housing NSPs in a larger size.
Because the product is dispensed from the bag using the same squeezing action seen on the 8 oz tubes, little to no oxygen is able to penetrate the bag. Think of it kind of like a tube of tooth paste — as you go, you roll up the bottom, which expels any air that gets inside.
This upgrade in size makes NSPs even more appealing to professional detailers, as they now have a both economical and efficient form factor when it comes to the Nano Surface Primer line.
