Some glass problems sit beyond the reach of a normal spray cleaner. Water spots, etching, wiper marks and other defects can leave windshields and windows looking dull even after they are perfectly clean. The Glass Polishing Kit pairs NSP GL with a rayon polishing pad to mechanically correct those defects and restore a smoother, clearer glass surface.

POLISH FASTER WITH THE RIGHT PAD

Rayon is the preferred material for serious glass correction, and the included pad is designed to work with NSP GL on a compatible machine polisher. Together they give you a purpose-built correction system instead of forcing a paint polish and paint pad to do a job they were not designed for. Choose the pad size that matches your machine and the area you need to correct. A compatible machine polisher and backing plate are required to use the Rayon Glass Pad and are not included with this kit.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

GLASS POLISHING KIT

Required equipment: Compatible machine polisher and backing plate (not included)

  1. 1. CLEAN AND INSPECT THE GLASS

    Wash and dry the glass thoroughly. Inspect the surface to determine whether you are treating topical contamination or deeper sub-surface defects such as scratches, wiper marks or etching.

  2. 2. ATTACH THE PAD TO A POLISHER

    Select the 3 inch or 5 inch Rayon Glass Pad based on the glass area and machine setup, then attach it to a compatible machine polisher and backing plate. The polisher and backing plate are not included.

  3. 3. APPLY NSP GL

    Apply NSP GL in a circular pattern around the face of the rayon pad. Use enough product to distribute evenly without overloading the pad.

  4. 4. SPREAD AT MEDIUM SPEED

    Place the pad flat against the glass and spread NSP GL over a manageable section at medium speed.

  5. 5. POLISH THE GLASS

    Increase speed as appropriate for the machine and make slow, overlapping passes in a crosshatch pattern. Keep the pad flat and monitor surface temperature during extended correction.

  6. 6. WIPE AND INSPECT

    Wipe away residue with a clean microfiber towel and inspect the glass. Repeat the polishing process if defects remain.

  7. 7. PROTECT AFTER CORRECTION

    Once the desired clarity is achieved, clean any remaining residue and follow with your preferred glass protection or ceramic coating if desired.

WHAT CAN THE GLASS POLISHING KIT REMOVE?

NSP GL is designed to correct automotive glass defects including water spots, etching, wiper marks, scratches, scuffs and other surface imperfections. The amount of correction required depends on the type and depth of the defect.

DO I NEED A MACHINE POLISHER?

YES. This kit is intended for machine polishing because the included Rayon Glass Pad is designed for use with a compatible machine polisher. NSP GL may be applied by hand for topical correction, but using the included pad and performing the kit’s intended glass-correction process require a machine polisher.

IS A POLISHER INCLUDED?

NO. The kit includes NSP GL, a Rayon Glass Pad and microfiber towels. A compatible machine polisher and backing plate are required to use the Rayon Glass Pad and must be supplied separately.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 3 INCH AND 5 INCH PAD?

The pad sizes perform the same basic function but fit different machine setups and work areas. A 3 inch pad provides more control in smaller sections, while a 5 inch pad covers larger glass areas more quickly.

WHY USE A RAYON PAD ON GLASS?

Rayon is well suited to glass correction because it provides the mechanical cutting action needed to remove defects from a much harder surface than automotive paint. The included pad is designed to work with NSP GL.

CAN NSP GL REMOVE DEEP SCRATCHES?

It can correct many sub-surface defects, but results depend on defect depth, glass condition and polishing time. Deep defects may require extended machine correction and should be approached carefully to manage heat.

WHY BUY THE KIT INSTEAD OF THE ITEMS SEPARATELY?

The kit pairs the corrective product with the pad designed for the job and includes towels for residue removal and inspection, giving you the core glass correction setup in one purchase while saving at least 10% compared with buying the items separately.
